Good morning all!
Eletia, our little Caden is a hoot! You can sure tell that he's got that anti-shopping male-child gene, LOL! I can just picture him in my mind, twisting those big-peepers right into your heart. How funny! I hope you write these things he's done down so that you can share it again with him when he's all grown up. Tell the rest of the family to be on the look-out for the toy he wants and maybe we can help you round it up? I'm going out shopping later today and will see if I can find one. If I do, I'll give you a call.
We're going to be in Crosbyton over Christmas at Bill & Bettye's house. It will be lots of fun with all of us there. Last time we did this was three years ago and we got snowed in! We almost cleaned out the freezer and came up with some VERY interesting stews to feed the crew. Bruce and Mark fired up the little tractor and found a GIGATORE piece of cardboard for a sled. The kids rode that thing until they were freezing and blue with the cold. The kids and I made cookies and white chocolate dipped pretzels and snow ice cream! I was racking my brain trying to entertain a bunch of kids who had been locked in the house too long. We had so much fun playing cards, and dominoes. You know sometimes the best memories are made under weird circumstances . . .
Sheron did you get your car out of the ditch? Again, don't feel bad there wasn't enough light and I can't tell you how many times I've almost done the same thing backing out. When will you guys be having your Christmas together?
I've got an overnight to Corpus this Monday to work with a doctor and staff there, Wed. an appt. with another Doc and her mom to oversee their facials and an appt. with a Medi Laser center on Thurs. or Friday. So, it looks like I've got to get my rear in gear and finish my shopping this weekend. This will include the stocking stuffers that, at our house, are the highlight of the holidays! If you ask our kids what they like the most about the holiday, that would be their answer! We get a little crazy and sometimes the stockings have been known to spill over into bags on the floor. Michael has gotten addicted to it too! He loves all the gadgets! Devin told me that he waits all year for his own personal stash of candy with peanut M& M's by the pound.
Meredith and Michael had their house packed up yesterday by the movers and will be staying in a hotel for this next workweek living out of a suitcase. They'll be on a plane coming home on Dec. 22 and have promised that they plan to two-step their way off the plane! They are soooo excited!
Talk again with you later,
Tress
