Good morning everyone! I hope the holidays were good to everyone. I also hope Meredith and her husband were able to move in okay. I send my love to all on this lovely Tuesday.

Unfortunately Chad was not able to make it to Denver this year. He missed his flight and tickets were ridiculous for a one way to Denver. So hopefully we will get to meet up sooner or later. I know things happen for a reason, but damn it sucks! And I have to say, I have not touched a lick of alcohol in over a year, but I did have to take a sip of Southern Comfort on Saturday after hearing the news that he couldn't make it. Luckily I stopped after a sip LOL Then I started cleaning the house to get my frustrations out. Question for the women: Why do we clean when we get mad? Just wondering cause as I've gotten older, that's what I seem to do.

Christmas was good. It was my first year doing Santa with Aidan actually understanding what was going on. Word to the wise....Don't wait til Christmas Eve to wrap ALL the presents. 3 hours later, I was sick of tape, bows, and all that other crap. But it was worth it on Christmas morning. Didn't do the traditional dinner either. The men were in the kitchen cooking this time. We had ribs cooked in the oven (yes we even contemplated grilling outside with 2 feet of snow on the ground) but the wind picked up and it got bitterly cold.

Well the snow was horrible. Jorge and his dad spent about 2 1/2 hours shoveling snow on Friday. They cleaned a huge area out on the street for our cars and then later that night some ASSHOLE (sorry) parked there for 2 days. I put a nasty note on their car which made me feel a little bit better.
