Hi everybody! Tress here and thanks for the prayer Blair- "think I nailed it, teehee!"
Alli. . . I'm so happy to hear that Chad will be with you for the holidays! I know how much I miss my sisters, especially at holiday-time. I think your eclectic Thanksgiving sounds a great deal like ours! We do all kinds of crazy stuff like cranberry fried pies and stew? Now I've got nothing against traditional turkey and dressing, but it's nice to center the holidays around the people in our lives and not center it all on the FOOD! Years ago, I rebelled because I would spend HOURS in the kitchen cooking and miss out on all the special time before the meal, then after the meal would spend HOURS cleaning it all up. Yep that's me, the FAMILY REBEL, LOL! It's fine with my bunch to have Pedro's tamales from Lubbock? You will be wonderful at your new position and the City is the lucky partner to have you working for them. We're thrilled for your good news and you're right, the benefits are FABULOUS!
Gowens's . . . loved the photos of your Christmas together! We are really bad about taking pictures, but I promise I'll try to be better about it so I can share on the site. Hope all is going well for the whole bunch. Blair, I'm thrilled that your 2nd interview (presentation) went great! I know you wow'd 'em! Zack, we're rootin' for you @ Lockheed! They are notoriously slow but we know you did GREAT!
Watson's. . . isn't it fun having all the kids home for the holidays? Enjoy yourselves and don't feed Townsend too many goodies, LOL~ (I should talk right?)
I'm allowing myself to be excited now-my older two kids will be home Friday night! We've started the countdown and I'm just obnoxious! I can barely stand myself!
Love and kisses,
Tress
