Since we're now in the new age of blogging with all these wonderful tools, thought I'd use a few for this post, teehee! Thanks again, Blair for adding all this FLAIR! You're a techno genius!
So, Caden. . . when is the Polar Express this year? Thought we'd talked about riding it to see if we could find out where the North Pole is located? Ask your mom what she thinks and blog me back, OK?
Eletia, I do not miss driving on the ice! I did that for 18 years and am (if I say so myself) very good at it, but darn it's nice not to have to get out of the car with the cheeks of my toushie cramping from clinching, LOL! We are sooooo ready for our two kids from California to be home again! Their flight comes in on December 22 to Ft. Worth where they'll spend some time working on their house- then off to San Antonio for Christmas Eve with Michael's family and later on Christmas day to Crosbyton for the Odom family bash! Lot's of driving for them this time, but since we rotate the holiday around we only have the Crosbyton drive every 3 years for the holidays.
Happy Birthday to all my December birthday family members. I hope you all have a very enjoyable day and do something nice just for yourself. Doesn't have to be expensive- I gave myself a pampered pedicure from the local nail shop for my birthday. After all, I've got to keep these feet where I'll be able to go on Jay Leno when I'm in my 90's like the fruitcake lady did.
Sheron, Jerry, Diane & Cameron - we enjoyed your baby shower and you did get some very nice gifts for baby Brock. Hope you had enough room in your car to get them all home! What a nice dilema. . .
April & Zack - hope you are taking care and that little "Tolby Britches" is growing strong and healthy for entrance into the family. April's baby bump (as they're calling it in the tabloids these days for Hollywood types) is showing now so really flaunt it!
Jared & Betsy - What's up with you too? Have you gotten all settled into your new place and ready for the Holidays? I remember a time we moved to Amarillo on New Year's Day, (not the best plan in the world, but necessary at the time)- you guys were really smart getting that taken care of before the Holiday rush!
John- got to visit with Lauren at the baby shower- she's such a sweet young woman and I think you did a superb job picking her out of the potentials. Well, maybe I should say that God did a good job putting you two together, huh?
Brandon and Wil- What's up in Austin these days, haven't heard from you lately on the blog.
Allison- I loved the pictures of the boys! They are sooooo sweet and Aiden still has his papa's build and ears. Alexander has your eyes and sweet little face- I'd love to cover him in kisses. He looks just like one of those darling baby dolls that everybody just wants to squeeze with hugs. I hope you all are having a great holiday season.
Love to all,
Tress
