Alli, I remember all those songs too! When we were driving together, Sheron was singing to Caden in the backseat all the way to Plainview. I told her then that she definitely should have been a pre-school teacher or she can still do a children's recording. Hey what an idea? Sheron and Eletia, I think you should sing all those songs on a recorder to be given as a gift to your grandchildren. I'd buy a copy! Anyway, there were some tunes I remembered from when we were all little, but since the others had a few years on me, they remember more of the words than I do. HAHAHAHAHAH! Yeah, right I'm like sooooooo much younger? LOL!
OUCH, 2 degrees is, as daddy used to say, "colder than a witches-tit in a brass bra". Come on you guys, get out of the freezer and move to the tropics 'mon, of south Texas of course!
Mark said North Carolina was darn cold this week while he was there and he's glad to have his boots on the ground home again.
I'm going to be in CA this coming week for meetings, Monday-Saturday. From what I'm seeing on the news, LA is windy and COLD too. Not sure what to pack, but layers are always a good idea. Meredith, I'll get a chance to wear my pashmina on the plane and snuggle up for a nap.
Blair, I know the last day at work is S-T-R-A-N-G-E with trying to insure that what needs to be done is handled and that you download your brain onto someone else's. 'Specially if that person isn't excited about taking on the new responsibility 'til they find a replacment. I'm sure they'll have a hard time replacing you, but you're doing the right thing. You've got to look out for yourself and your career. The days of staying in one job for a lifetime are long over! Be excited about next week and just take Monday trying to get to know your new surroundings.
Dianne and Cameron. . . only 1 more centimeter to go!!!!!! The countdown has begun. As I told Cameron yesterday, please tell Baby Brock that his Auntie Tressie is going to be out of town next week, so if he could come this weekend, or maybe wait one more week that would be swell. . . LOL! I won't hold him to it or anything as I know he'll be ripe when he's ripe.
I'll blog more later this weekend, but for now, my fingers are tired!
Love to all,
Tress
