Good Morning everyone!!! I hope everyone had a fun New Years Eve, or at least were able to catch up on some sleep.

Things were pretty peaceful around here. Couldn't go out that much cause the side streets are still pretty bad. I got so stir crazy that after 2 1/2 days in the house, I had to get out. I walked down to the gas station and got me a water and some almonds (both I have at home, but I didn't care). And of course I'm back at work today after having yesterday off. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things.

Alex cut his first tooth around Christmas, so that's a little enjoyment for me. We're all doing good though. Nothing too exciting going on.

I'm sitting here thinking about the whole family and I just can't believe how big it's grown. I can't just think in terms of my three sets of aunts and uncles and their kids anymore. I can't imagine what a get together looks like with everyone there. Although I'm hoping I will be able to this year. Its neat cause when I picture each and every one of you, I get this little snap shot of each person in my mind. I can see their smile a certain way, hear their laugh, and see some distinguishing quirk that we all do in some shape or another.

I'm proud of everyone and the things that they have accomplished. I'm a firm believer that you can do whatever you set your mind to. I know it sounds kind of corny, but it's true. It might take you a long time and it might be hard as hell to accomplish, but it can be done. Sometimes I think we get compfortable with the fact that things are easy or it's in our comfort zone. If we don't embrace change then we will never know the possibilities that are out there.

For all my cousins, I miss you all so much. We all have special bonds and memories that we shared as kids. I look up to all of you and the things you've done. I'm blessed to have you all as my cousins.

I know I'm getting really sappy in the post, but if you look at it from my perspective you guys are really the only family I have left. My immediate family is only my brother, but you guys are my link to my parents and grandparents. I don't want to lose that connection because everyone has such great memories and life experiences that I want to hear about. I was thinking this past weekend about a project I want to do. I would like to type up a questionaire for everyone to fill out in regards to my parents and grandparents (who I really don't remember that much). I would like as much information as possible that way when my kids get older, I will be able to share the stories and information with them. Is this something everyone would be willing to do for me? Please send me a response.

I love you all and hope everyone has a blessed week.

Oh I almost forgot.......since we have this surge of boys coming into our family, Diane & April: Are the two of you interested in some baby clothes. I still have all of Alex's since he was born. If so just send me a line or two. Good luck Diane and keep an open mind about the delivery. It might not happen when they say and it might not happen the way the say, so just roll with the punches. There is no perfect birth but once that baby comes out you will think he's the most perfect baby in the world. Best wishes.

Alli
