Happy New Year Everyone!! May the new year hold nothing but blessings for each one! Jerry and I spent New Year's Eve together. We spent the evening watching reruns of "Ugly Betty". Then we watched the Fantasia Barrila story. You remember she was one of the American Idol winners. It was a pretty touching story! Today we are both at work. What an exciting way to spent the first day of 2007! I did leave black-eyed peas in the crock pot and indent on stir frying some cabbage to go with the peas and ham for our supper. We can't miss the blacked-eyed peas and hope that the old tradition does bring us good luck!

Blair, Jerry and I got a new camera for Christmas, so maybe I can start getting you a few pictures along of our bunch. I have not forgotten about getting into the old pictures and letting you copy some of them for the website. You don't have to get rough with this ole lady too many times before I comply! Congratulations on your new job! I know that this is an exciting time for you.

Eletia, good luck with the job promotion. They should know that they will not get a better candidate! Hope you get the job!

YOU ARE RIGHT THE TIME IS PASSING VERY RAPIDLY. Diane is beginning to have early labor contractions, we think as she is having some very uncomfortable pains. This last weekend is probably the last time she will travel as the time is getting very near. She may not even go until January 30. We will see.
