I too remember the song. I also sang this song to my boys. Teachers used to teach the song to their students and students would sing the song to their teacher. I remember a teacher that Donna and I both had, Mrs. Edwards, who was a first grade teacher that utilized this song. I remember several songs from the ole grade school days to this day. I had a retired teacher in my nursing facility here in Cameron, who lived to be 100, who exchanged the "Good Morning to You." When she was falling asleep at breakfast and was not eating very much of her breakfast, I would arrive at the facility and while doing my morning rounds we would exchange the little song. By singing the song she would wake up a little more, smile, sing and eat a little more of her breakfast. I hope that we all can pass along some of the songs that influence us as children. Eletia, Tressie, and April know that I almost drove them crazy singing rhymes and songs to Caden on our trip out to Plainview. Have a good weekend everyone. Sheron
