The Watson Clan is doing quite well. As everyone knows, our baby addition has arrived. Brock Logan Watson is still in the neonatal unit at this time, but continues to be doing well. Cameron informed me that he and Diane are now able to hold the baby. He was a little jaundiced for a short while and required "a little suntannning" for just one day, but is now not requiring it. He remains in the unit due to not having learned to suck in all the time and for gaining weight. He wants to push out on the bottle nipple at times, which the nurses and doctor state is quite normal for a premature baby of 3 and 1/2 weeks to do. He currently is fed by a tube one feeding and then by bottle the next feeding. Cameron reports his hopes of Brock getting to go home by the end of the week. We will wait and see though as none of us want him to leave too soon. IT FEELS GREAT TO BE THE GRANDMOTHER OF A LITTLE BABY! Just thought that I would let you know of my feelings! Brock weighed 5lbs. 1.6oz. at birth and was 17 inches long. He was born at 11:20am, and at that moment, Jerry and I had our world change. The uncles are very excited too! Cory at this point loves looking at the baby, but is a little guarded at wanting to hold him, again according to Cameron. I can't wait to see him again and hopefully this next visit I will be able to hold Brock! Diane is doing fine, and is healing from her C-section with each day that passes.

Last week I missed going into work 2 days due to the weather, but worked still at home on paperwork. We finally were able to venture out to go to Houston to see the baby on the 17th which was Wednesday, the day after he was born. We visited in Houston until Thursday night and returned home to Waco to work on Friday morning. I also worked for a while on Saturday morning. On Saturday afternoon we visited with Jerry's sister in Taylor, Texas and returned home Saturday night. When we did get out from our capture from the ice, we did drive a few miles.

John and Lauren are still on track and have made many wedding plans. He is scheduling for Lauren, he and I to make our final prparation plans in April for such things as the flavor of the grooms cake, what flowers I would like, etc. He is now in San Antonio.

Brandon also missed work on 3 days due to the weather in Austin. He fell down stairs at his apartment and bruised himself up, but thank goodness he did not break anything. His work place closed down for the 3 days he was off and due to the absense, Brandon had to wok on Saturday and try to get a little caught up for the Monday morning rush.

Happy Belated Birthday, Blair! I know you have a very happy one! Sounds like lots of good food, sports, fellowship, and gifts!

Thanks to April and Zac and Eletia for looking up road conditions for me!

Hope that everyone in the family is doing great and that we all miss anymore ice! Ali what can I say----Colorado is Colorado!
Love to each of you and have a good week! Sheron
