Blair, thanks for the kind words over my boat engine. Removed it tore it down and found a piston destroyed. Damn the luck. Looked fairly terminal. Tress and I went to Victoria Sat. for Blake and Lisa's wedding and returned Sun. Cleaned the block and performed some Uncle Gearhead magic and now dosen't look so bad. Block is at machine shop for boring and parts are ordered. Should have all back by Friday and I hope to assemble, install and break in by Sat. night. Should be back in the fishing business after that. Get this. The boat shop was going to charge $2,200.00 to rebuild. $1,200.00 if I took the the power head only. All machine work and parts will be about $600.00. My labor must be worth gold!!! Got to get it done though. Fixin to get real busy with work. Ft. Worth, Minnesota, Florida then Austin back to back. Tressie is in Monroe, La. today and tomorrow then home then Austin last part of week. Devin is schooling and working. Better go. Must catch up on work s**t. Uncle Gearhead.
