Good morning family, Well we all survived the great tornado storms late yesterday. It was touch a go for awhile. April, Zac, Caden, Toby and I had gone to NRH to eat at Corino's and we missed the actural tornado that touched down at 820 and 30, but we got major hail damage on Zacs vehicle, it was the size of baseballs. It appears that here at the house just some hail and my and Aprils cars have a few spots of damage. No glass damage. The tornado or high wind did hit the complex where Cadens day care faciltiy is. It appears it jump around. Jared called us while we were eating and told us that the tornado was headed for us and after he called Blair called me to tell us and while talking to him, one appeared just North of his apartment and all I heard was Jay yelling at him "it hear", and then the phone went dead. Oh my God! This Mom was quite upset. We headed home which was about 10 miles North of our house. Kept trying to reach them and finally got through and they were OK. We saw several firetrucks out and going to the damage. Lots of damage where it jumped from here all the way down highway 30. Mike was still at work having a memorial and had to get about 250 people in the hallway at the funeral home. I know we live in a place where tornadoes often hit, so we might try and find a house with a basement.
My job was one of the jobs Citi will be sending to India. I have been told that I have a job till around Marchish of 08. Then I have a severace package. We will see what happens. Hope I find something else within the company or something better. Oh well life goes on and on.
My sugery is on the 19th and I have done real good not eating and only drinking the protein shake the doctor made me drink. Hopefully it can be done laproscopic and I will be as good as new in just a few short days, but if not, as I said, life goes on and on.
Please do not think that I am down because I am not. Just lots on my mind and I know I am strong and can keep going and going. Just like the Duracell bunny!
