Hi again all ya'll! (don't you love the plural Texan of ya'll?)
Well I'm happy to say that my "mouse-finger" has apparently healed with 24 hours of rest. Just got to watch those side effects- keep craving cheese? LOL!
Anywho. . . just sent my baby-boy off to the Prom. He and his date and several other couples are taking a limo, so I'm not worried about the driving situation. He looked pretty dapper in his cream tuxedo with turquoise vest & tie. Of course, he had to have his picture taken with his straw cowboy hat on and said he looked like Boss Hogg> I don't think he's anywhere near like that short, round little dude- but with his blue sunglasses and hat I get where he was going with that remark. I'll download some pics for you via Blair,K?
I finished cleaning out my closet which took around 4 hours! That's just nuts! I had 4 piles: 1)seamstress pile, 2). doesn't fit anymore, 3). what was I thinking? and 4). I'll never wear Amarillo winter gear in Houston and should have gotten rid of piles. The doesn't fit it available for transition clothes for Sheron and Eletia, the #3 and #4 get to go to Goodwill. I can really get rid of most things without too much stress, but those shoes, (guess I inherited Daddy's gene there folks! I'll keep repairing, cleaning, reheeling, until they just can't be done anymore. . . and then I ponder about it. All I can say is that I LOVE SHOES! You know, I think that if I had a bazillion dollars from winning the lottery, I would probably pay off debts and buy myself a pair of Jimmy Choos! Oh yes, I have very lofty goals, LOL!
I know all of you are asking about Devin's graduation- We've just gotten the invitations in Thurs. so, I'm going to have the boy sit down and get those addressed and mailed shortly. We hope you can all make it, Sat. May 26th in College Station at A & M. Be looking for them in the mail soon.
Love to all,
Tress
