I can't believe that this weekend is Easter! The bluebonnets are blooming all along the highway on may way to work. They sure are beautiful. However, I really don't know how the name "blue" bonnet came about, as the flowers are really not blue in my opinion. They are a blue-purple! A few Indian Paint-brushes are also appearing with a scatter of primroses.
Boy, did we all have the rain! I left work a little early on Friday because the cloud was coming through and my boss felt that I might get caught in it. As I reached the outskirts of Robinson I ran into torrents of rain. The water was standing behind our house and it was still raining. The weather report siad that the storm was heading for Robinson and of course it was a bad storm.. It is now known that a tornado in the storm hit in McGreggor and in Reisel. It jumped over Robinson. and thank goodness missed us. It tore up an indoor rodeo barn in McGreggor and tore down some trees in Reisel. I heeded the warning and got in my safe place in the middle of our house. I DO NOT LIKE STORMS OF THIS NATURE!!!
Weekend before last, John and Cameron's family came to visit. This past Saturday Brandon came down. I am still tossing around ideas for decorations for the Rehearsal Supper. I think that I have about got it from the planning stage to the buying and doing stage. With all the activities that are coming up, I have got to get things going so that I want be stressed to finish.
Brock is really changing, but still has short little legs. He is growing though and is beginning to smile and coo. Blair thank you for putting a sight online for his pictures. I will have to figure out how to get you some of the pictures I have taken on my digital camera.
April, I am glad that you ae continuing to do well in your recovery from your c-section. Eletia, I will be talking more with you about your upcoming surgery.
I guess by now most of you are aware that this past Friday was Jerry's last day as a Probation Officer. He is going to take a short time off and hopes to find another job doing something else that is not so stressful.
Love to all of you!!!!!!!!!!!!
