Wasup to all. Uncle Gearhead here. Sorry I have not been on in awhile. Been a little busy with the "COLD HARD STEEL, RAW RUBBER AND HORSEPOWER". Two weeks ago I spent 3 days in Minneapolis (yes during the Noreaster) like to froze my ass off. Got the Hell out of Minneapolis on a Thru. morning at a balmy 24 degrees and arrived in Houston 2 hours later to a delightful 74 degrees. Had to stop when I got to my truck and change shirts. This week I made a quick trip to Corpus then Bryan today and College Station on Friday. Headed to Florida next week then Austin for a week then Southern Missouri for a week. Tis the season. Got the old boat going. Yep all broke in tuned up and water tested. The old John boat will blaze a 40 mph trail across the water. So the fishing is on. Been out a couple of times and got skunked. Last time out was yes the day I got home from the frozen north. Caught a couple of 1 pound bass and about a 8-9 pound grass carp. These grass carp are supposed to be vegetarian and put in the lake to destroy the hydrilla but I caught one. Sorry to let everyone down but we will not be attending the Cup race this weekend. Work loaded me up and I just had to call CALF ROPE. Gotta get some rest somewhere. Planning to go in June to the Craftsman Truck race and Indy cars. Bonus for me is on Friday night the World of Outlaw sprint cars will be at the dirt track at TMS. I am telling every body after the second week of May I may not turning a lick until the third week of June. Aunt Gearhead is fine. I can hear her in there busting her ass working on something. Devin isssssssssssssssssssss ASLEEP. Imagine that. I have been reading the blog when I have time and it seems everyone is good. As much as I am away from home it is nice to read the blog. Especially when there is alot of activity. It makes me feel more at home. There is still something I can't figure out. All the folks that don't blog. Think about it.
