Hi everybody!
It's been a weird week with travel to Austin and 2 large events to work, but I finally made it home around 10 pm Friday night. You know, sometimes, I wish I could wiggle my nose and be home. . . Sure would save me tons on gas, LOL!

We're all doing well and enjoying the beautiful weather. Mark's sitting in the recliner working on fishing lures and tying flies. Grand plans for catching "the big one"! I'm glad he enjoys his fishing and relaxing when he can. For the first time in his life he's able to fish after work and I'd say that's a good place to be, wouldn't you?

Devin's definitely ready for high school to end and the future to begin! He's at that stage where he's excited about the future and a little bit wigged out by it too. We've all been there, in fact, I face that every Monday morning, teehee. . .

Meredith and Michael continue working on their place! Paint to do, and fences to paint, and grass to mow. I love it don't you, the joys of home ownership? Repair the rain gutters, cut down that outback, plant those flowers. . . Oh well, guess I'm getting older because I've realized that you can kill yourself just trying to keep up. Nowadays I do what I can and relax until I get enough steam built back up to try again. For example, years ago, I would have killed myself cleaning out the flowerbeds and replanting them all in one day. Today, I was lucky to get the flowerbeds in the backyard cleaned out and uprooting, sorting new plants for replanting. Tomorrow, I'll till the soil and plant those plants. Big deal if the plants have got to sit outside overnight without being completely planted. Better them than me! Either I'm more patient or just getting lazy? WATCH OUT NOW!

Take care and all you moms have a wonderful Mother's Day,
Love,
Tress
