Good morning everyone!
WHEW WHAT A WEEK!!!!! I'm still trying to catch up from the weekend of fun in Colorado for Allison & Jorge's wedding. . . (You know I don't seem to bounce back as quickly as I once did?. Weird isn't it? Hope you all enjoyed some of the pictures from the wedding and baptism.
Allison, you have a very nice extended family! Sweet people who love you and the boys, what a blessing. (Not that you are hard to love, LOL!) Looking at you in your wedding dress before the ceremony, I was driven to add the finishing touch. Somewhere in my mind, I heard your momma say, "She needs just a touch of blush!" I couldn't let her down, after all, she always told me that a face wasn't dressed right without a touch of color. You know she was right, because I thought you looked perfection before the blush, but after, you were just stunning! AND IF I EVER HEAR YOU SAY YOU HATE YOUR CHEEKS AGAIN, I'll SMACK YOU, LOL! Women in our area pay THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in Restalayne fillers just to get half the punch GOD gave you. I have always loved your sweet cheeks, SOFT AND PINK! Thank your friend, Meredith, for inviting us over for the pot-luck dinner. Her mom & dad are really nice people, too. Please also say Gracias to Jorge's mother & sister for the wonderful meal at your house. BEST CHILI I ever ate! I hate it that I'd run out of camera space after the wedding for a picture of your Uncle Jerry doing the Caballeros dance with Jorge's brothers and friends, and your Uncle Mark & you getting applause during the dollar dance!
Chad, what a joy to see you and talk with you again! I've missed you sooooo much!
I do hope you get the chance to read this! I'll definitely let you know when we plan to have our next get-together. Mark & I are in charge of the next one and this summer we just couldn't find a time that wasn't conflicting with other events! I know Alli doesn't like the beard, but I thought you looked quite distinguished! You will make a wonderful daddy someday,(very sweet- cuddling & walking a VERY TIRED Alex). He took to you very easily! Next time we visit, you'll probably have FABULOUS calf muscles from riding those hills- up/down to work. I'd just have to catch a bus- even though it is only 15 minutes from work! Or the office would have to have heart paddles ready every morning to get my heart running again!
Well gotta run for now, off to the Katy area this morning to visit with more Doctors.
