Hey out there in Hot Rod land. Are there any Gearheads blogging? Uncle Gearhead here. Something interesting happened to me today. I traveled from Minneapolis to Edmonton with a guy by the name of Mike Adams from Sindey, Australia. Turns out he is staying at the same hotel I am in Edmonton. Has anyone watched the show on the History chanel "Ice Road Truckers"? If you have you will recognize the township of Yellowknife in Canada near the Artic Circle that the 10,982 loads were hauled from to all the diamond mines. This guy Mike is headed to Yellowknife then to all the mines (DIAVAK first) to perform safety evaluations during blasting occurances. His company travels all over the world doing this kind of thing. He shows people how to blow s__t up safely. What a job. It was interesting to me since I have watched all these shows and the last one was last night. Not much else to tell. Fricking cold here. 65 right now 50 tonight. Seems to be flat as hell and lots of farm land. Reminds me of the area around Chicago. Immigration into again was a bitch. 20 questions and very suspicious. I can't deal with Canadians hating American's so much. I'll bet they don't get the same treatment when they cross over into United States. OK. No soap box. Gotta go for now.
