Hello everyone! Glad to hear that the moving went well. Sorry that Jerry and I did not make it to help in anyway. Let us know if there is anything that we can do at this time. We can't say how much we appreciated what all everyone did to help Cameron and Diane move.
Jerry and I have been feeling a little under the weather still. Jerry came down with the upset stomach stuff that I understand has gone around in our families. He is feeling better this morning, but still hasn't gotten his steam back. Maybe today sine he is eating a little bit, he will return to feeling much bettter. As for me, I have been having trouble with my asthma and coughing. I have been to the doctor 4 times now, once per week for the last 4 weeks. As I said it started when I became congested and then has the viral stuff. I went to the doctor at that time and had to see another doctor other than my primary physician. I was put on pednisone as usual. I continued to have congestion, wheezing, and hwat I thougth was hives, so I returned and saw my physician. He again put me on more prednisone and doxicycline. Two days latter I returned to see another physician, due to not being able to get an appointment with my primary physican, because I was still have asthma and had began a rash. Looking into my history, which I had forgotten since occurance had been probably over 10 years, it was found that I am allergic to doxicycline. This doctor took me off the antibiotic, wanted me to return to the higher levels of prednisone, but stated that he saw no reason for me to be on another antibiotic. He also indicated that I should use my nedulizer more often. Needless to say I was not very happy with this doctor. So yesterday I returned AGAIN to the doctor, but was able to see my ohysician. I told him what the other doctor had said and that I was very dissatisfied with his treatment and course of action. I am now on an increased dosage of predisone and on an antibiotic. I am to call my doctor, Dr. Lippe, tomorrow and let him know how I am responding to the medication. This morning I feel strung out on medication, but think that I am doing better. When I am taking prednisone and nedulizer treatments, it makes me nervous and high strung, but I am not wheezing as loudly. Of course I am at work, but really do think that I am getting better.
Enough of the explanations over illness! Jerry and I will be celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary this Friday! We both hope to feel much better so we can do something to celebrate. I am planning on taking off Friday if nothing gets in the way. Don't know what we will do to celebrate yet, but we will come up wit something.
Looking forward to our get together and hearing about all the changes in residence from all of you. Want to hear about the river trip for Tress's family, and about the granddogs. Eletia, hope that things have fallen into place for you upon returning to your work. I'll talk to all of you soon. Love Sheron
