Okay, so so so so sorry that it has taken me over a month to blog. ALOT has happened.

First off, many thanks to Sheron, Jerry, Mark and Tressie. I enjoyed seeing you all and spending time with you. I wished that it was longer, but there will be another chance. Thank you to the Gowen's for sending the beautiful champagne chutes and knife set. Sheron and Tressie gave us a touching and hearfelt toast. I do have to send a HUGE thank you to uncle Mark. You left me speechless when you got out there and danced with me for the dollar dance!!!! It was one of the highlights to my day. I didn't know that you knew how to dance like that!!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And uncle Jerry..............I knew what was in store for you once they pulled you up there and I am so proud of you for sticking with it. You did awesome. You both put a huge smile on my face. Sheron and Tressie you were my saving grace when it came to the flowers. You both did a stunning job. Thank you thank you thank you.

We went on our honeymoon up to Grand Lake over Labor day weekend. It was so beautiful up in the mountains. I got to drive a boat for the first time. Jorge was really into fishing so we went out on the lake and fished for a couple of hours. But I did get quite wet and so did Jorge. The wind picked up while we were out on the lake so we had fun just splashing each other with water while going as fast as we could in the boat. We stayed in a quaint little cabin which had beautiful wood on the inside. The town is so little but has a lot of character to it. We really didn't do too much, but just enjoyed ourselves.

So my other news is that I had emergency gallbladder surgery on Friday. UGH!!! Jorge took me to the emergency room on Thur. night and after some poking, prodding and an ultrasound they found out I had many gallbladder stones and the wall was thickened and inflammed. So needless to say, I was admitted and was on the schedule for laproscopic surgery. Everything went well. I was released on Saturday and have been off work til today. The only problem is that I can't lift anything over 10 lbs. but I have a toddler who weighs 24lbs. Daddy has been helping out alot since I can't lift Alex. I got to spend some good quality time with Aidan while I was home. Luckily Jorge's mom and sister are still here so they've been helping me out with Alex.

Chad is coming to Colorado Springs the first of Oct. with his girlfriend. They are going to visit a friend of hers whose helicopter was gunned down in Iraq and all his comrades died except him. His commander actually volunteered him to go back for another tour, but luckily they said he wasn't mentally ready to go. So I will get to see my brother again soon. It's weird cause I've seen him more this past year than I have in the past 8 years.

Well Texas gang.........watch out cause we are really looking into moving to Texas. I told Jorge that I'm tired of all the high rent we pay and I would really love a house, so we've started the search to head back to Texas. We haven't decided on an area just yet but we will let you all know.

I just got Jorge a digital camera for his birthday so know we will be able to send pictures more easily.

Betsy I don't know if you have had the baby yet, but good luck! I will keep you in my prayers.

Eletia CONGRATULATIONS on losing 44 lbs. That is an awesome feat!! You should be so proud of yourself.

To everyone else, I miss you all so much. I can't wait to see you guys. I think about you guys all the time and I promise that I will be keeping in touch more. Love you all and hugs and kisses from the Ramirez family (ok that was weird.....no longer Gillespie :)
