Good Morning to all. Hope this blog finds you all very well.
Jared, Betsy, April, Caden, Toby and I went to Crosbyton Friday afternood for Betsy and Jareds baby shower. It was absolutely awesome. Kate got some many nice and pretty little things. Lots of PINK. Kittie hosted the Gowens family shower at her house and Jared, Betsy and I stayed Friday nite with Gary and Kittie. They as always were the best of Host and Hostess. Everything was wonderful. Food, family, and fun. Peggy, Susan, Jill, Shavonne, Stormy, Brock, April, Kittie and myself, and of course the honoree Betsy were all there and had a wonderful time of eating, visiting and just being together. Maggie and Megan had to work and were not able to attend and we did miss them. Boston who is now 9, probaby would have not have wanted to be with us ladies, but sure would have loved to have had him. Maw was not able to attend, due to JW has had many health problems as of late and has been in the hospital for a week, and they just got home Friday. We did go by and see them on Sat afternoon before we returned to Ft Worth.
April and the boys, after the shower, went to Lubbock to visit with Grandma and Grandpa McGaughy and Great Grandman Helen. Barry and Linda have moved to Lubbock to live and help Helen, since her health also has failed in the last year. They will return today.
I have kept Caden and Toby since the 9th of Nov. since there babysitter has been out of town. I will be off work until this Friday. I have to go back to work the day after Thanksgiving. How aweful. Huh? I will work in the Appraisal Dept until the 30th and then I will work in the REO dept starting in Dec. All pray for me. I hope I can do this and hope very much that I will like it as well.
Mike is the new Funeral Director in Charge at his place of work, now. They are very short handed and this is the time of the year that his type of work really picks up. Hope they are able to get some more, good, help. We also hope and pray all works out good for him.
We are having Thanksgiving here at our house. All are planning on being here. Cant wait, you all know how much I love having and being with my children and grandchildren. They are such a big part of my life and I just love them all so much. I think this is the first time that the whole family will be together. Mike, me, Blair, Jay, Adam, Ethan, Bailey, Jared, Betsy, (Kate), April, Zac, Caden and Toby. We also look forward to having Linda, Melyssa, Kory, Tamra, and Burk, Betsys brother join us.
If any of you guys are in town, come see us. Would love to have you all.
I will get started this next week on the Baby Shower for the Griffinsisters Saturday the 8th of DEC. Hope you all can attend.
