Don't everyone fall out of your chairs. Uncle Gearhead here. Sorry I haven't been on in awhile. Been a little busy. Went out to Lubbock and helped Mother during my Dad's hip replacement surgery. All went well with the surgery. Man. The care at Covenant Hospital is about the #@$%%^*& I have ever seen. Oh well. Look where it is at. Go figure. I was there from the 8th until 12th, Bruce came in from Tennessee on the 11th and switched with me. Dad is doing good. Got all the staples out today. He is all good. As I was saying, traveled home on the 12th, down packed, repacked and left out on the 13th for Charlotte. Performed lectures and training until the 17th. On the night of the 16th it snowed 4 inches in Hickory. I guess you can only imagine my reaction to that.(I detest snow and cold) My counterpart from California and I traveled the evening of the 17th back to Charlotte so we were closer to the airport for our flights the next day. Traveled back to Houston on the 18th, down packed, repacked and traveled to New Orleans today. Will be in Kenner and Baton Rouge for a couple of days, travel to Alexandria on Thursday then back to Kenner. Fly back to Houston on Friday. WHEW. I do have a little down time before my next missions that between working I will be shooting my new rifle I bought one month ago and getting it ready to go pig hunting. I will also be going to the driving range and continue to work on my HORRIBLE slice. I have been taking a few lessons from the guy who owns the range. GET THIS. God is rubbing it in my face. The folks that bought the home next door. The dude is the Asst. Golf Pro at the Walden Golf Club. Man!!!!!!!!! But you know my winter time blues are almost gone. The medication is only 27 days away. Travel home on the 18th or 19th of March, down pack, repack and travel to Harrisburg, Pa. to do a dealer training. Travel home down pack, repack and leave for Florida. OK so that killed March. After that, I could be possibly be hard to find since that is about time for pre-spawn, spawn and fishing for the Ole" Largemouth could be in order, pig hunting on the south plains and some golf.
