2/22/08. I have been on vacation all week. Needless to say I have gotten nothing done. I have studied a little bit on my new career move. I have signed up for the Medical Transcriptionist course on line. I do it by mail and on the computer. It could take up to six months or two years depending on how fast a leaner I am at it. There is lots of memorization of course right now. My mind doesnt seem to want to take it. There is lots a already know just from everyday life. I stille remember most of my English terms and that helps some. I guess Margaret Barrett would be proud. Huh?
Today I have Caden and Toby. There keeper is out of town today, so I have them. They stayed the night with me and so far we have eaten breakfast, gotten dressed and Toby is back to sleep. While we were rocking Zac came in to see them and be with them a while and now he is asleep on the couch with Toby and Caden is watching cartoons on TV.
We are going to go to Aprils work and have lunch with her around 11, if all goes well.
I went to Jared, Betsy and Kate's Wednesday morning and I got to keep here for a few hours while Betsy and her Mom went and got Betsys hair cut. They then had lunch out together before she had to go home the next morning. I was very glad to get to do this for her. Jared had to go in to work for a while, so Kate and I got to get to know and love each other a little more.
Last night Caden and I made homemade pretzels like you get at the mall. Caden really does like these and I told him I thought I could make them. Well, they turned out OK. My first time to try. I just need to tweek the recipe a little for them and roll them a little thinner. Who knows at our next get together maybe I will have this down and we can all enjoy homemade soft pretzels.
Blair and Jay have been kinda of punney this week and I have not seem much of them. Hope they get to feeling better real soon. I miss seeing them at workout this week.
I am still working at Citi office in Coppell for now. I hope to get to be back in the appraisal department this next week. It takes such a large company so long to get anything done. I hope we get to work from home real soon. The way gas is going up, I hope REAL SOON.
Mike has had to work all week while I was off because the only other funeral director had surgery this week, wouldnt you know. Hopefully they will find someone to help out in just the right areas real soon also.
