Eletia, you made me smile remembering Mrs. Barrett and the English-part! The medical transcription sounds interesting, not to worry it'll come back to you from those days when you did that at the hospital. At least it isn't Dr. Palifka (sp), right? LOL! You and Caden are adventurous with making soft pretzels. . . sounds pretty good with some mustard too, hmmmm. Anyway, tell Caden he can dictate a cookbook for you to transcribe, called COOKING WITH CADEN! Could be his college-fund, huh? I think it's cool that he likes to cook-reminds me of Devin in the kitchen with me when he was little - he's a great cook now too. Very good preparation- guess I didn't want him to be helpless or dependent on someone else to cook & clean for him like someone we all remember and love? Very cool that you could enjoy Miss Kate and play with her while Betsy & her mom enjoyed a little girl-time too.

Blair & Jay, sorry you guys are feeling puney! That bug is going around all over the US. I'm carrying hand santizer in my purse and hope to keep it away as long as possible- I know it won't do a lot of good since supposedly this bug is airborne, but makes me feel like I'm doing something. Take care of yourself before you launch into March with all the classes and wellness events- those are grueling! I did those with cities/counties every Spring along with the benefits.
Do they still have that guy who comes with the popcorn machine and stinks up the place all day? I normally love the smell of popcorn popping, but after a full day my clothes, hair, everything smelled like popcorn oil!

Sheron, sounds like things are revving up over there too! I don't know how you do it all. . . when I was on the phone with you last week, you were chatting away, walking the hallways, speaking to every resident by name, catching the gentleman going outside who wasn't supposed to do so, without missing a beat! Even though the residents are a lot like children in many ways, its wonderful that they all have their dignity at your facility. If any of you haven't visited, you should make the trip- it's not like any nursing facility I've every seen! Very comfortable and homey!

Talk with ya later,
Tress
