Good Morning to ALL!
It has been a little while since I have been on, but here finally I am.
I had the honor of getting to keep Kate for a few hours last nite while her Mom and Dad celebrated their 5th anniversary. They went and ate at Saltgrass and said they enjoyed it very much. The newest addition to our family is just perfect and I have already fallen in love with her. She is just beautiful and looks mostly like her mother. She is very petite with lots of dark hair. When she opened her big eyes she just starred at me as to say, Hi Nana, Nice to see you and know what you look like. We already talk to each other. Didnt know a week old could talk did ya? Mike, April, Caden, Toby and I just loved getting to hold and get to know her more last night. I didnt know I could love another one as much as the lst. But ya know, they are all so very very special in their own little ways. My heart has so much love for my sweet precious grandbabies.
Speaking of, Caden had Nana & Pops night last nite as we usually do on FRIDAY night. He is getting so big and grown up. It is awesome the talks he and I have about so many things. God, Jesus and Heaven are very much a big question in his mind right now.
Caden is doing much much better since he has gotten his breathing machine. He too is growing so big and is everywhere. He helped my cook one nite this week and found the plastics cabinet and just racked everything out onto the floor and looked up at me with the biggest grin, like ITS OK ISNT IT NANA? And of course it was !
Mike and I celebrated Valentines Day in a very special way. It was my last time to have a work out at the gym with a trainer. He was off that day, for a few hours and he had a candle light dinner prepared with yellow roses and a beautiful journies necklace. He even cleaned up afterwards. Then we just sat and visited and talked for a few hours and it was just so special and nice.
April, Zac, Caden & Toby had Valentines Dinner at Saltgrass together as a family since they seldom get to. They said it was nice and enjoyed it very much.
Blair and Jay plan to go to Saltgrass and eat this weekend. They have both been fighting the bug and they work so hard and then work out so hard, I told Blair last night. Maybe just REST some. Hope they will and get this stuff out of there.
I guess you can all tell that my VALENTINES ALL GOT DINNERS TO SALTGRASS.
I have still not been put to work in the appraisal department at work yet. I am sure getting ready to do so. I am on vacation this week which is vacation from last year that I did not get to take. I have scheduled all my doctors appts on Tuesday and I plan on keeping the boys on
Friday for April since here sitter is going to be gone. I also plan on visiting with Jared, Betsy and Kate some more. Mike will not get to be off, and this will be a very busy week for him, since the only other director is having surgery. Oh well, it never seems to come out right anyway. Maybe I can return the nice candle light dinners for him.
Hope this finds everyone well. The weather this weekend is supposed to be rainy and cold here as it is most places in the US right now. I am getting ready for Spring, but not HOT yet.
