Hey Guys, Uncle Gearhead here. Just want to say to all the Gowens' Tressie and I are thinking of ya'll every day. I am not alot of help but just ask my opinion and I gurantee you will get an ear full. hahaha. You know one of my biggest regrets is I never got to take Mike fishing. "MY WAY". Not his way. "MY WAY". Friday afternoon the wind lightened up a little and I decided to go out for awhile. As I was leaving the dock, I made Mike my Ship Mate and took him out and showed him "MY WAY". It's funny. I could just hear him "bitching" "Your way is too much work." Kinda small thing but it was fun. OK we need to talk about golf now. I am running some ideas through my head, so here it is. I will be making a tribute trophy for the winning team to possess until the next scramble. Just wait. It's cool. Everyone needs to participate. I think it woul be cool if everyone who possibly can would play. So, Jared it's up to you to get all the Gowens bunch out to the driving range hitting balls, and teaching those who don't how to play. Jerry is responsible for Watson's and I will be responsible for Odom's. Don't know when it is going to happen, we'll have to work on that. The best name we have come up with goes something like "MIKE'S CHILI DIPPING BRAGGIN RIGHTS SCRAMBLE" If anyone has a better idea I'm all ears. I think Mike would be wiggy and proud to see all that can, play 18 holes and share all the bad shots and experience. Is this a tribute? No. It's my way to get back at him since he's the one responsible for taking me along and teaching me to play this stupid game. I will never forget that Sunday morning, we still lived in Crosbyton, I think it was about 1983, he called and asked if Tressie and I wanted to go with he and Eletia to Roaring Springs and play. Here it goes, I said to Tressie "Has he lost his @@@@@@@ mind waking me up on a Sunday morning to go play @@@@@@@ golf?" The rest is history. Another longtime fellow HACKER was born. Better go for now. Gotta get ready to leave for Lafayette tomorrow.

Uncle Gearhead factoid for tomorrow: Mike I salute you with my Left Front in the air and both feet flat on the floor. Uncle Gearhead.
