Good morning again all ya'll (the Texas plural of ya'll, haha)! What's wrong with this picture? My baby girls (Stevie & Callie) woke me up really early on Saturday morning to go outside and then do the morning play-routine. Now, we've all had breakfast and they're crashed-out around me in puddles. . . wouldn't it be nice to have a pampered dog's life? Someone opens doors for you, makes your bed/turns down your bed, fixes your meals, baths & grooms you, does your mani/pedicure, buys your clothes-collars, takes you to the doctor/dentist, picks you up and places you gently in the car, reads you stories & blogs, drives you wherever you want to go, takes you to Sonic for a cold glass of water, buys you toys of every shape and size, pets & cuddles you, makes sure you have a great window seat to view the neighbors, squirrels & deer, types your comments on the blog in human. Stevie just said, "Yes, but we're worth it!" and you know she's right!
April & Zac, wow what a week! Car stolen, crazy guy at the door, car found, car in impound? (Oh well, such is life?) Try not to let it scare you too badly. . . it really doesn't matter big city or small town- just ask my Father-in-law about the pickup stolen from their driveway in Crosbyton, Meredith's luggage stolen out of our car, Mark's truck lock punched in San Antonio and computer stolen. It happens everyday to someone. You know, Meredith told me about a tv show, "It Takes a Theif" where 2 reformed thieves pick family homes (like they did when they actually robbed homes) but here's the twist; they tell the family what will happen and ask for their participation. Next, they set up cameras in and around the home and the other one breaks in and steals them blind. (Of course the materials are all returned, and the house put back in order). Next the 1st guy helps the family fix all the security issues they have in the home and about a month later when the family is gone, the 2nd guy tries it again on camera. After all the corrections, you see what happens then. It's made me very thankful for that security system! But away from the house, it's not always so easy. I've looked into taking a gun class and have enjoyed going to the shooting range with Mark. Anyway, hope things are much better at your house this next week!
Blair, thanks so much for the pictures of the Scramble! It looks like you all had a wonderful time and I know Mike was right there stroke for stroke. (I get this picture in my mind of the bent knees, left foot turned slightly, right elbow wiggle, wiggle, LOL with love! Those who've played golf will remember this stance too, so very Mikey). We'll look forward to being there next year.
I'm going to be on the chat tonight, so join me OK?
What's up on the Watson Front? How's John & Lauren's relocation going? How is Cameron feeling after his food poisoning, OUCH! Has Dianne started nursing school? Did Brandon have an enjoyable BD? Can anybody catch Brock, LOL? (that boy didn't just walk he sprints everywhere!) Jerry, are you keeping my flowers alive and I need pointers for keeping my pond clean!
Allison, it was wonderful hearing from you! I miss you and the boys so much. We would love to have you come for an extended visit anytime! Would things be looking good for a relocation at the end of your lease? WE COULD PUT OUT THE GRIFFIN JOB FEELERS whenever you think you're ready, but no pressure or anything, LOL! Wow that's wild to hear about Chad planning such a trip! (Make sure he plans a trip back, though, LOL).
Well, I'm off to workout. . . have a great weekend!
Love,
Tress
