There hasn't been much action on the blog lately, so I will add to it. Fill you guys in even more about what's been going on up here. Well my last blog said that I wrecked my car. Found out last week that it is totaled! So I've got to figure out what I'm going to do now. Luckily I had the GAP insurance so it will pay off the remainer of my car. I unfortunately won't be able to make it down there for the golf tournament. It saddens me because I wanted to see everyone. Then on last Friday, I found out that I have Shingles!!!! If anyone has ever dealt with that, it's horrible. It's pretty much a live dormant strain of the chickenpox that lies in your spinal column until later in life when something happens and it decides to wake up. Doctor said it was probably because last week I hurt my back doing inverted sit-ups because the next morning I woke up with what I thought were spider bite marks on my stomach. NOPE......just blisters from shingles. It now has spread to my back. It sucks, honestly. I have to keep them covered cause I'm afraid of passing it to the boys. They have both been vaccinated for chickenpox, but it still scares me. I don't want either one of them to come down with that cause I will be out of work for about 2 weeks. I can't afford that, but it's all in God's hands. I'm sure he's trying to tell me something will all this that has been going in my life. I just wish he could say it outright instead of giving me signs, cause I'm still unsure what the message is!!! Jorge is now in Houston working down there. Unsure how long he will be there. Chad is doing ok up in Portland. I talked to him yesterday. Him and a friend of his are trying to plan a trip to Thailand. Hope he gets to do that. Experience of a lifetime. Give Caden a kiss for me!!!! Sorry about the broken arm buddy. I hope everyone else is doing good. I'm sorry I haven't called the Gowens group to see how you are all doing. I will be doing that soon. I've been wanting to talk to all of you. Hopefully I can call this weekend when everyone is down there. Love you all and hugs for everyone. Take care and will drop another line soon.
