Hi Family,

Well, we Odom's are OK. We've made it through Ike at Meredith's house here in Azle. We've been able to reach some close friends of Devin's to check our house and property. Looks like from them we've got a tree broken or down and some damage to a fence, and torn swing but nothing major thank God! Trees down all over the place, and if you remember our house is surrounded. We know we're really lucky. The townhouses down the street are torn apart and many of our neighbors have trees that have fallen into their houses, roofs no longer in place. While we've got no electricity for who knows how long, we've still got a home intact as far as we know. But we're all together and healthy and that's the most important thing.

Not sure when we'll head home for sure, but we'll keep you all posted on here. My phone doesn't seem to be ringing in , but it's probably due to the area code and massive number of people using cell phones for communication. We've got this aircard and car connector for the laptop, so can for sure make updates as we find out from home.
