Good Morning Griffin Sisters!!!!!!!!!!! I just wanted to say that all the little ones looked so cute for Halloween. I just can't get over how much Caden and Toby look alike. They could be twins!!! I also wanted to comment on the picture with Eletia and the gentleman. She looks to happy in that picture. She is gleaming from ear to ear. I don't know what was going on behind the camera that was giving her that smile, but she looks beautiful.

Our Halloween was fun. Aidan was Mr. Karate and Alex was a big green frog. Sorry Blair but I don't have any pictures :( We went trick or treating in an area where my friend Merediths parents live. The kids enjoyed the candy, but I was enjoying looking at/and in all the million dollar homes. I can't believe people actually live in homes like that. Later on the boys went trick or treating with their dad and saw a haunted house.

I hope you all liked the pictures of the boys. I took them up to the mountains to see the Aspen's change colors. It was breathtaking up there. The boys got to get all dirty and run around. They spent a good 15 minutes just hitting sticks together and trying to break them. The other picture with the random boy next to Aidan is his friend Alex. ( yeah it was a little confusing that day with 2 Alexs). They went and saw Thomas the Train (hence the Thomas T-Shirts on both of my boys). Alex didn't know what to make of all the trains. He was in heaven. At the railraod museum, they have a miniature rock garden/train track thing. There were about 15 motorized/steam trains on it. Alex was mesmerized by them. He was more interested in those than when the Big Thomas train would pass by. But it was a fun day none the less.

Last week was really rough for me. I ended up in the emergency room on Tuesday. I ruptured an ovarian cyst. I didn't even know I had one. They gave me percocet to take for the pain, well come to find out I'm allergic to Percocet. So after a full day of itching all over, swollen eyes and chest pains, I ended back up in the emergency room on Thursday. Only to find out that yes I was allergic to Percocet and possibly to Vicodin (they switched my pain meds, but it didn't help) and that I had bradycardia. That is a slow heart rate while at rest. So the doc put me on some steriods. I have to say that the weirdest thing out of all of this is that a side effect of the drugs was that I got sweaty legs. I couldn't sleep because anytime my legs touched anything (pj pants, sheets, the other leg) they would sweat. So every hour on the hour, I would wake up in a pool of sweat shivering.....go sit in a hot bath for 15 minutes (one time I actually fell asleep in the tub) and then try to sleep again, but only to wake up 15 minutes later to start the whole process over. Let's just say that I was a zombie at work on Friday. I don't drink coffee.....but I stopped by Starbucks and got a venti coffee to try and keep me awake during the day.

But now I am doing fine. The sweatiness has tapered off.....thank god!!!! I actually got a little sleep last night.

And now for the awesome news that I am so excited about.......I will be coming for Thanksgiving and the get together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND I will be bringing my two munchkins!!!!!!!!!! I'm taking off from the 25th through the 28th so I am going to try and head out late Tuesday evening and maybe stop over in Lubbock and then drive the rest on Wednesday. It's not official, but that's what I have planned. So if the weather works out, I will get to spend some quality time with the family. I don't think Chad will be able to come. He is staying in Portland with his girlfriend.

So I hope everyone has a great week. I miss you all and I can't wait to visit. Take care and Love Yah!!!!

Alli
