Nothing much new around here, been traveling and working. Mark's on the road in Seattle this week and I'm staying closer to Houston. We've got to work out this calendar thing- I was on the road away from home (Arkansas and San Antonio) while he was home- now he's on the road. Guess that keeps a marriage fresh, huh? LOL! Devin's working on his transfer paperwork for A&M and enjoying the excitement that comes from working with University administration-(this said with a smirk on my face, LOL!) Meredith & Michael are doing well- ask Meredith about Michael's Paul Bunyon routine in felling a tree this week, hilarious!
Stevie, Callie and Savannah are ruling the household as usual. . . last night I was all settled in to bed with my first night on CPAP. Too funny watching Callie and Stevie trying to figure out what was on mommie's head? They kept turning their heads from side to side, as if to say, "Mom are you OK?" Savannah was in her kennel and without Devin being home barked her short yips in 3 second beats. . . no kidding. . . you could set a watch by her. So, I unhook it all and go get Savannah out of her kennel and let her sleep in Mimi's bed too. Picture this. . . Me with CPAP trying to get comfortable breathing this new pressure gig with Stevie curled under my right arm; Callie crooked into the little space behind my knees, and Savannah sprawled out on her back, legs in the air, tongue hanging out and head on my pillow. Can you say, "Very cozy?" LOL!
Excited to hear about Alli coming to Ft.Worth with certain dates. . . will definitely work on coordinating with my family to see you, Manuel and the boys. Chad, I know you must have loved Hawaii! It's absolutely the most beautiful place- I would live there in a heartbeat- (if I could afford it,LOL!)
April, how is Toby doing after his trip to emergency room? Girl, you've got to find another place to hang out, Hahaha! Seriously though, keep me posted, K?
Good news, Betsy on the new position with Citi- We're thrilled for you and Jared.
Cameron, hang in there on the new job! Boy do I feel your pain. Bosses that love to delegate everything are lots of fun, huh? Guess that's how they can go play golf all afternoon? LOL. Diane, I know that these few weeks of seperation are strange. . . soon you'll have everyone under the same roof and in the family nest again.
