Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday Dear Devin! Happy 21st Birthday to You! And Many More! Love and Kisses from Aunt Sheron

Devin, Congratulations, you are finally there!!! HappyBirthday. 40 will be just around the corner.
Glad you guys are getting to have some time together later. I wish there was some time here for a few days off. OH well, maybe next year. Got to get to Waco to get tickets for the Margarita Festival, probably next weekend. Then to Lake Brownwood, then Crosbyton sometime in August. Would love to come see Tressie and it may be in Sept, but will get there. Hey be cooler anyway. Right?
Caden starts to school August 24, so have to be here that weekend for him. I will be keeping him before and after school this year to help out a little with daycare costs. The way I work, I dont plan on him being here much while I work. Start early and hopefully be through by the time he gets out, or almost.
Jimmy, April and the boys made it back home safe and sound from Lubbock and CT visits. T.G.
Everyone have a real good week. Love Eletia

Happy Birthday to Devin on the 20th!!!! Wow I can't believe you are turning 21.

Tress, Mark, Devin and Ashleigh it was so good to see ya'll last week. Thanks for letting us stay with ya'll and going fishing. I have some really good pictures of our fishing expo that I will treasure forever.
Love ya'll.

Mom get to feeling better. Love you!
Blair

Gosh E...sorry to hear you're under the weather with stomach bug. Those aren't fun anytime! Sounds like you're doing the right stuff though, rest, rest, rest. Maybe today you will feel better, I hope!

It's been a really busy month for us with travel and work s_ it. . . I'm just trying to recover some energy this weekend too! Was in Louisiana last week, and after doing my reports, I think I understand why I'm so exhausted, (12 hospitals- 3-5 dept. each one, educational visits, in-services at all) Wah,wah, wah. . . stop the griping right, it's a job!) Just kinda tiring when each one demands so much- draining actually. Drove home late Thursday (6 1/2 hours) did some reports, got up early Friday, to be in Cypress for more of the same. But the good news is. . . I finished 5 reports, sent off 9 Evaluation packages for the Army/Air Force Group and actually had some dinner before Mark's plane got in from Idaho around 11 p.m!

I'm taking this week for vacation- but still having to be on conference call Monday morning. . . that's just wrong! But after that, I'm planning on going underground for a few days to just VEG!
Devin's birthday is tomorrow and he's going to be the big 21! We're taking him to dinner and getting his bd present today/tonight. Then I've got to bake his cake/or pie. . . he's working tomorrow at his internship anyway, but we wanted to try to make things at least a little special. All our plans got shot for other travel plans for his birthday, but he's such a great young man. . . very understanding of all things economy-related. But you know, that's a good thing in preparation for life, right?

Devin is moving into his own apartment over in College Station on August 1st. . . then Mark, Dev and I are taking some time during the 2nd week to go visit Bill & Bettye. Haven't been able to coordinate schedules to go see them for over a year, so we've just backed our ears and are doing it, COME HELL OR HIGH WATER! It will be nice to get to see them again for a few days. . . Grandad, Dad, and Grandson could use some fishing time. . . and Mom Bets and I could use some chill-time together. We always have a good time together. Bettye has had laparascopic knee surgery, so I may take her to see some movies or something if she's up to it. You know, the kind of girly movies that the guys never want to go see. We'll miss having Meredith with us, as the 3 of us can get into some TROUBLE together, HA! Unless, we can talk her into taking some time to join us?

Meredith is doing well at Lockheed . . . with her program ending (Obama- strikes again), there was some concern with where she would be placed and how soon the effects would happen. Good news is she received notice that she would be with the program for a few more years and then due to the quality of her work moved to another position with a level G3. So, again, even though things sometimes appear troublesome, there are silver linings!

Guess I've written a book again. . . sorry about that. . . so until next chapter of "As the Odom World Turns?"

Love,
Tress

Hello GS. Has been quite some time since I posted. Hope this finds everyone well and doing good. I myself had the stomach virus. I awoke with it early friday morning. Ugh awful. How can you upchuck and do other things, when you havent eaten in several hours. I am better today just weak from it. I missed our trip to Lubbock to watch Jimmy Granddaugter Cassie play in her softball all-star tournament. He went and April and the boys followed him to Lubbock, Friday afternoon late. April visited with some friends and family and the boys stayed with their other grandparents.
It has sure been a lonely weekend so far, I have seen no one. Everyone is busy with lots to do and besides I want to stay away from everyone as to make sure I dont pass this along to anyone else. It is not fun.
Well, I shall go and lay back down and rest. Even eating is yucky. Love to you all and start blogging some so I know what is going on with everyone. Eletia

Man it's horrible when the host of the site hasn't blogged. Sorry about that. I have had such a busy last couple of months with no time on the weekend to update the webpage. The webpage is not dead. The golf scramble was fun a few weeks ago. It was also good to see everybody.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's.

OK now folks. . . I know it's summer and we're all very busy, but REALLY? It's like crickets chirping, hahaha!

Things are going OK here since we saw you all last. No great or wonderful information, but we're all healthy and that's a blessing! Just got off the phone talking with my girlfriend who lives in Matthews, NC- she was in the sauna having a glass of chardonnay and I was too- (natural sauna on the back porch- with my glass of rose) Too hot for anything dark or sweet in my opinion.

Devin's got class tonight, Mark's on the road, and me and my girls (Stevie, Callie, & Sydney) are just chillin'. We've made fun of Forest (the squirrel that lives in my tree) as he creeps along the fence top trying not to fall. One foot slips off the fence as he scoots along. . . he's really kinda goofy- I call him Forest because he reminds me of Forest Gump running really fast but weird and wobbly.

I'm looking forward to vacation next month and it can't be too soon!

Come see us when you can,

Tress
